Bill was born on the 14/1/20 in College Park, S.A.

He enlisted on the 3/2/41 and the records show that he was DD 30/6/43 (Discharged Dead).

The confirmatory memorandum notes his death followed a flying accident after his engine malfunctioned during a sortie.

He rests in the Adelaide River war cemetery, see photo.
